一、项目起源

Part 1. Project origin

开化公共文化广场位于衢州市开化县，该项目总用地约 50 亩，总建筑面积 4.2 万平米。项目包含城市展览馆、博物馆、图书馆、档案馆、文化馆、青少年宫六大功能主体。设计意在续写城市中的山水格局，通过恰如其分地人工介入，使人产生对建构场所和环境的诗意共鸣。

Kaihua Public Cultural Square is located in Kaihua County, Quzhou City, with a total land area of about 50 mu and a total construction area of 42,000 square meters. The project includes six functional subjects: city exhibition hall, museum, library, archive, cultural center, and youth palace. The design is intended to continue the landscape pattern in the city, through appropriate human intervention, to create a poetic resonance with the place and environment built.

二、设计理念

Part 2. Design Concept

01. 开山立石

Splitting the mountain and standing the boulder

开化位于钱塘江的源头，丰富的自然资源孕育了开化悠久的山水文化。设计通过体块切削塑造出一幅江边巨石画卷，山、水、石浑然天成，与自然环境相互融合形成一体。在体现开化山水文化主题的同时，又通过强有力的雕塑感，打造开化标志性节点。体块之间的有机错动形成一张富有张力的网络，建筑不再以静态、固定、完成的姿态出现，从而展现出独特的生命力。

Kaihua is located at the source of the Qiantang River. Abundant natural resources have given birth to a cultured landscape culture. The design creates a riverside boulder painting through the cutting of the mass, and the mountains, water and stones are naturally formed, blending with the natural environment to form a whole. While reflecting the theme of Kaihua landscape culture, it also creates a civilized landmark node through a strong sense of sculpture. The organic intermovement between the masses forms a tense network, and the building no longer appears in a static, fixed, completed posture, thus showing a unique vitality.

02. 观山望水 Watching the mountains and water

建筑背山面水，设计通过地面的逐级抬升塑造出多维度观景平台，实现人与山水的连续互动，给市民带来独特的观感体验。使用者通过入口广场走上台阶，视线逐渐变窄，随即通过景观广场——空中庭院——屋顶观景台等一系列的场景切换，视野逐渐开阔，营造出一条步移景异、张弛有度的“意外”视野路线。

The building is designed to create a multi-dimensional viewing platform through the step-by-step elevation of the ground, realizing the continuous interaction between people and the landscape, and bringing a unique viewing experience to the citizens. The user walks up the steps through the entrance square, the line of sight gradually narrows, and then through a series of scene switching such as the landscape square – sky courtyard – roof observation deck, the field of view gradually widens, creating an “accidental” vision route with different scenery and relaxed tension.

从河畔观望，建筑体块由于台基的抬升，仿佛漂浮于江面之上，深灰色的立面与后面的山体相互掩映，似有若无。台基将地坪进行折叠，营造出九曲回廊般的迂回路径，充分展现了建筑与场地的融合共生。

Viewed from the riverside, the building seems to float above the river due to the elevation of the platform, and the dark gray façade and the mountain behind it seem to be nothing. The pedestal folds the floor to create a circuitous path like a nine-curved corridor, fully demonstrating the symbiosis of architecture and site.

03. 活力广场

Creating a vibrant square

建筑的小体量一方面消解了建筑在环境中的突兀感，另一方面围合成一个不限定功能的内聚广场，供市民休闲、交流、文化展示，充分激发了使用者的行为活性，让使用者观看环境的同时，也能满足人与人之间互动的乐趣。此外，建筑单体的上人屋面，也形成一处既可以休闲活动，又可以眺望江景，环顾远山的城市活力广场。

On the one hand, the small volume of the building dissolves the abruptness of the building in the environment, and on the other hand, it forms a cohesive square with unlimited functions for citizens to relax, communicate and display culture, fully stimulating the user’s behavioral activity, allowing users to watch the environment while satisfying the fun of interaction between people. In addition, the upper roof of the building also forms a city vitality square that can not only enjoy leisure activities, but also overlook the river and look around the distant mountains.

三、建造理念

Part 3. Construction concept

01. 因地制宜

Adapting to local conditions

建筑形体与地形高差有机结合。将地面折叠延展，直至与山体相连，不同标高广场的植入将日常生活以垂直方向面对城市展开叙述。同时，基座沿城市界面 30 米进深以内消防定义为地上，以外定义为地下。六馆均坐落在 30 米以外的基座之上，故消防室外标高可按室外二层广场标高记入，大幅缩减消防造价。

The shape of the building is organically combined with the height difference of the terrain. The ground is folded and extended until it is connected to the mountain, and the implantation of different elevation squares narrates daily life in a vertical direction towards the city. At the same time, fire protection within 30 meters of the base along the urban interface is defined as above ground, and outside it is defined as underground. The six halls are all located on the pedestal 30 meters away, so the outdoor level of the fire protection can be recorded according to the level of the outdoor square on the second floor, which greatly reduces the cost of fire protection.

02. 交融共享

Blending and Sharing

项目包含城市展览馆、博物馆、图书馆等六大功能，同时又共享一个 400 座的剧场以及公共展示、会议，食堂餐厅等辅助功能。六大功能主体既相对独立又互相联系，试图以跨界复合型创造市民城市生活新体验。

The project includes six major functions such as the city exhibition hall, museum and library, and shares a 400-seat theater and auxiliary functions such as public exhibitions, conferences, canteens and restaurants. The six functional subjects are both relatively independent and interrelated, trying to create a new experience of citizens’ urban life with cross-border complexion.

03. 精于选材 Proficienting in material selection

建筑立面石材结合造价和设计预期效果经多次比选、现场放样，最终选择了蒙古黑，其中自然面/水洗面/火烧面以 7:2:1 的比例随机布置于外立面，产生了和而不同的立面肌理变化，增加了建筑表情的丰富度。

The building façade stone combined with the cost and design expected effect after many comparisons and on-site lofting, and finally selected Mongolian black, in which the natural surface/washed surface/fire surface was randomly arranged on the façade in a ratio of 7:2:1, resulting in harmonious and different façade texture changes, which increased the richness of architectural expressions.

四、建立社会影响力

01. 贯彻全民教育

Implementing the concept of education for all

建筑丰富的内部功能与充满活力的外部环境承载了开化的文化记忆与社会关系，将科普教育以潜移默化的方式融入城市社区日常生活的同时，又以独特的环境塑造与场所体验营造出有益于市民身心发展，达到功能育人、生活育人、环境育人的三重目的。以更谦逊的姿态、更亲密的关系融入人们的日常生活，将是科教文化建筑发展探索的新方向。

The rich internal functions and vibrant external environment of the building carry the civilized cultural memory and social relations, and while integrating popular science education into the daily life of the urban community in a subtle way, it also creates a unique environment shaping and place experience that is beneficial to the physical and mental development of citizens, and achieves the triple purpose of functional education, life education and environmental education. Integrating into people’s daily lives with a more humble posture and a more intimate relationship will be a new direction for the development and exploration of scientific and educational cultural architecture.

02. 构建文化机制

开化作为一座源头文化、红色文化、非遗文化等诸多文化多元交织的千年古邑。开化公共文化广场的建设不再局限于建筑本身，而是成为了一种机制与平台，通过功能融合、数字融合、平台融合，实现与其他公共文化场所同步的开放系统。其在价值、内涵、政策、实践等各个维度为探索新文化建设的模式作出了长足的贡献。标准化、均等化、社会化的现代公共文化服务体系让广大市民最大化地感受到文化复兴带来的自信。
