Kasian Architecture Interior Design and Planning designed a youthful look and feel for mortgage institute, Haventree Bank, in Calgary, Canada.
Based in Toronto, Haventree Bank’s fast growing Calgary team needed a new office environment that would reflect their modern and innovative culture. Situated in The Edison, a re-envisioned office tower catering to young progressive professionals, and providing a wide variety of amenities, including a dog park, Haventree Bank’s own office space could focus on core business function and culture for the employees. To support this, and align with head office standards, employee choice was key. A variety of settings support how and where they want to work such as a dedicated focus space, a collaboration hub, enclosed privacy rooms or the staff café, and work lounge.
The building has a lot of amenities, therefore the only thing that was added into their own space was a staff café, where they can conduct town halls. To address the security needs of this financial institution, a two-level security access was implemented throughout the space. The office is open concept, and includes non-dedicated offices, meeting rooms, collaboration hubs.
Designed with an industrial feel to compliment the character of the Edison Building, unique exposed ceiling and polished concrete floors further enhance the employee experience. Haventree Bank’s new office location in Calgary reflects their modern and innovative culture.
