锦尚是JLD接触的第一个艾灸养生品牌，而他们的首家养生中心选择落户广州天河，并由JLD为他们完成这一项目的室内外设计。项目位于天河区南国花园旁，在繁忙喧闹的城市中，希望有创造一个提供安静祥和的地方。

Jinshang is the first health and wellness brand that JLD has contacted, and they chose to locate their first wellness center in Tianhe, Guangzhou, and entrusted JLD to complete the interior and exterior design of this project. The project is located next to Nanguo Garden in Tianhe District, in the busy and noisy city, hoping to create a place that offers quiet and peacefulness.

“我希望空间呈现出来给客人是舒适，放松，愿意停留的。”“I hope the space presents to the guests a comfortable, relaxing, and willing to stay feeling.”

艾灸是一种传统的养生方法，可以调理气血，祛除湿邪，增强抵抗力。徐徐上升艾烟是一种平稳和优雅的状态，我们选取孔明灯作为品牌空间内的主要元素，因其是一种象征吉祥和祝福的灯笼，希望传达出可以寄托人们的美好愿望，让心灵得到净化和升华。可以反映人们对健康和幸福的追求，让生活充满希望和动力。

Moxibustion is a traditional health method that can regulate qi and blood, dispel dampness and evil, and enhance resistance. The slowly rising moxa smoke is a state of stability and elegance. We choose Kongming lanterns as the main element of the brand space, because they are a symbol of auspiciousness and blessing. We hope to convey that they can entrust people’s good wishes and purify and sublimate their souls. It can reflect people’s pursuit of health and happiness, and make life full of hope and motivation.

Concept sketch

为了营造一个适合中医艾灸养生的空间环境，我们希望延续中式传统的神韵，用现代的建筑手法来处理。我们将采用简洁的线条，温暖的色调，自然的材质，营造出一种古朴而雅致的氛围。

In order to create a suitable space environment for traditional Chinese medicine moxibustion health and wellness, we hope to continue the traditional Chinese charm, but use modern architectural techniques to deal with it. We will use simple lines, warm tones, natural materials, to create a simple and elegant atmosphere.

空间中的发光灯箱，坡顶，木梁其实是原建筑的消防管道及结构梁。我们不希望单纯的以降低天花高度来解决原建筑条件的劣势，而是希望呈现出一种节奏的变化，但这种变化是收敛的。

The glowing light box, sloping roof, and wooden beams in the space are actually the fire-fighting pipes and structural beams of the original building. We don’t want to simply lower the ceiling height to solve the disadvantages of the original building conditions, but rather present a change of rhythm, but this change is convergent.

走廊门套的麻石，是为了防止工具车运送中破坏墙体而做的保护。拱顶则是希望尽可能利用有限的条件创造出舒适的尺度。The hemp stone of the corridor door cover is a protection to prevent the wall from being damaged by the tool cart during transportation. The arch top is to create a comfortable scale with limited conditions as much as possible.

房间中，由于原建筑集中了大厦的设备管道，可以利用的层高有限，同时艾灸项目会产生大量的艾烟，我们结合以上的条件创造了几个层次来隐藏必要的设备，并且增加了二次光的使用，减少点光源的直射，希望房间内的气氛是平稳，安静的。In the room, due to the original building concentrated the equipment pipes of the building, the available floor height is limited, and the moxibustion project will produce a lot of moxa smoke. 团队希望能够为中医养生馆创造一个既符合其特色又能展现其品牌的空间。我们选择了平稳，收敛的手法，以避免过于张扬或繁杂的设计，从而营造出一种安静祥和的氛围。我们认为这样的设计能够让人们更好地体验中医养生的魅力，也能够传达出品牌的理念和愿景。希望品牌能够像孔明灯一样，在人们的心中慢慢升起，带来健康和希望。As a space designer, I hope to create a space for the Chinese medicine health center that is both in line with its characteristics and can show its brand. I chose a smooth and restrained technique to avoid overly flashy or complicated design, thus creating a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. I think such a design can make people better experience the charm of Chinese medicine health care, and also convey the brand’s philosophy and vision. I hope the brand can rise slowly in people’s hearts like a sky lantern, bringing health and hope.
