悉尼西郊花园城新区 | 绿色环保的西悉尼国际机场设计

伦敦的扎哈·哈迪德建筑事务所（Zaha Hadid Architects，简称为ZHA）和悉尼的Cox Architecture建筑事务所（简称为COX）共同赢得了新西悉尼机场（悉尼第二国际机场）的国际设计竞赛，并被任命为该机场项目的总建筑师。这个由扎哈·哈迪德建筑事务所和Cox Architecture（以下简称ZHA/COX）共同完成的设计方案从40个来自全球范围内的参赛作品中脱颖而出，一路闯进最终的评审环节，并打败了最终环节中的其他4个方案，摘得桂冠。

This morning it was announced that Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA; London, UK) and Cox Architecture (COX; Sydney, NSW) have won the international design competition for the new Western Sydney Airport (WSA) and been appointed as Master Architect for the project. The ZHA/COX team was selected from a broad field of forty national and international applicants that was narrowed to five selected design competitors.

西悉尼国际机场以著名的澳大利亚女飞行员Nancy-Bird Walton的名字来命名，位于悉尼西部的花园城市（Parkland City region）新区内，是一座绿地式机场。值得一提的是，Parkland City将与海岸线上原有的海港城市（Harbour City）和Paramatta周围的河滨城市（River City）一道，成为悉尼的第三城市中心，并在未来的几十年中推动悉尼向城市的西边扩张。而西悉尼国际机场也将作为一剂基本的催化剂，促进这一进程。截止至2040年，悉尼大都市区的总人口数预计将达到900万。

新建的西悉尼国际机场的建设过程将分为四个阶段，第一阶段预计在2026年完工，完工后将容纳1,000万的年旅客量。而截止到2060年，西悉尼国际机场的年旅客量将增加至8,200万，成为澳大利亚客流量最大的国际机场。作为总建筑师，ZHA/COX设计团队将负责机场的整体规划和设计，其中也包括了机场未来扩建的设计方针。同时，设计团队也要开始着手准备详细的设计图和施工图，以确保第一阶段建设任务的顺利展开。

The Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport, named after the famous Australian aviatrix, is a new greenfield airport in Sydney’s new western Parkland City region. Together with the original Harbour City on the coast and the River City around Paramatta, the Parkland City will become Sydney’s third urban hub, stimulating the city’s western expansion in the decades to come. The Western Sydney International Airport will be a fundamental catalyst for this growth, with the city’s greater metropolitan area set to reach 9 million by 2040.

The new Western Sydney International Airport will be built in four stages of expansion, beginning with the initial stage of 10 million annual passengers (MAP) by 2026, with further increments up to 82 MAP, making it the largest international gateway to Australia by 2060. As Master Architect, ZHA/COX will provide an overarching design for the entire airport precinct including design guidelines for future expansion. At the same time, the team will prepare the design documents for the execution of the first phase of the new Terminal Precinct.

此外，可持续的设计原则也贯穿了整个建筑设计和施工的进程。本项目广泛使用自然采光、自然通风和水循环系统，创造出了一个模块化的节能性设计方案。此外，该建筑还充分考虑了当地的环境，反映出当地的自然景观和文化特色。

The ZHA/COX design incorporates sustainable design principles across the building’s architecture as well as its construction principles. The project integrates the extensive use of daylight, natural ventilation and water recycling to create a modular, energy-efficient design. The building is also sensitive to its local context, reflecting its natural landscape and the cultural heritage of its indigenous inhabitants.

此外，在交通建筑领域，扎哈·哈迪德建筑事务所还与ADPI共同完成了北京大兴机场项目（

），也作为首席顾问参与了一系列项目的设计和建设，如：新孟买市国际机场（Navi Mumbai International Airport）、位于那不勒斯（Naples）的Afragola高铁站（Afragola High-Speed Rail station）和位于利雅得（Riyadh）的King Abdullah金融区地铁站（King Abdullah Financial District Metro Station）等。而Cox Architecture建筑事务所目前也正在进行一系列项目的设计，如：位于悉尼的新维多利亚十字车站（Victoria Cross Station）、悉尼国际机场市场（Sydney International Airport Marketplace）、悉尼足球场（Sydney Football Stadium）和中国国家海事博物馆（Chinese National Maritime Museum）等。
