麦加是中东地区最具活力的发展中城市之一，也是麦加地区的首府。麦加被认为是伊斯兰教中最神圣的城市，所有有能力的穆斯林都有义务前往麦加朝圣，这被称为朝觐。

Makkah is one of the most dynamic developing cities in the Middle East and is also capital of the Makkah Region. Makkah is regarded as the holiest city in the religion of Islam and a pilgrimage to it known as the Hajj is obligatory for all able Muslims.

我们希望塑造富有信仰的建筑，与心灵产生共振；我们希望植根于本土文化，因地制宜；我们希望创造出平等、开放的空间，为公众提供一座沟通的桥梁；我们希望这座酒店成为圣地必经之路上的地标性建筑。

Our vision is to create architecture with a belief that creates resonance to the heart. We aim to connect to the local culture and create common space for public where everybody is equally welcome to share and communicate. The hotel complex integrated multiple functions will become landmark along the way.

项目简介

Project Brief

HBAarchitecture 很荣幸受 Al Rajhi Ekhwan Group 之邀，进行了一座麦加市酒店住宅综合体的概念设计。

在朝圣期间，超过六百万的朝拜者会聚集于这个圣地。

为了满足各种人群的住房需求，这个位于朝圣地点的主要大道上的综合体建筑将由酒店、住宅、朝圣者住宿及商业区共同组成。

HBAarchitecture is honored to have been invited by Al Rajhi Ekhwan Group to concept design for a hotel complex serving the city of Makkah.

More than 6 million Muslims from around the world travel to Makkah During the Hajj period every year.

In order to accommodate the residential need of all income demographics, the program for the complex consists of hotel, residential, pilgrim accommodation and commercial areas and is located along a main traffic corridor serving the pilgrim sites.

建筑体中庭入口 Entrance to the Courtyard

我们的团队将各种中东元素融合在一起，譬如面纱般的屏风、美丽的伊斯兰纹样、多层级花园以及当地山地地形，并将他们转化为现代设计语言，设计出了体现当下及未来的麦加建筑。鉴于选址的神圣性，我们将建筑形态和动线引导到麦加大清真寺。为不同人群所设的礼拜堂纵贯整个综合体，信徒们可在里面眺望麦加大清真寺的景色。

The design approach unites various middle-eastern elements and translates them into a modern context. Elements such as screening, dynamic patterns, multi-layer gardens and the local mountainous terrain are joined in a design for the modern day and future Makkah.

Given the holy nature of the site, architectural gestures and movement flows are directed with attention to the Al Haram mosque. Prayer halls for different users are strategically placed across the height of the complex with views to Al Haram.

概念与灵感

Concept & Inspiration

酒店的外观灵感来自传统沙漠建筑，外部宛若面纱一般包裹，而内部别有一番洞天。中心空间的多层级花园则是天堂的隐喻——流水，凉亭，树荫……简单的几何不断地重复与衍变，造就了经典的伊斯兰纹样，这成为建筑立面及图案的灵感来源。酒店自身的天际线与当地的山地地形互为呼应，宛如四面环山的山谷。

The exterior of the hotel is inspired by traditional desert architecture, the exterior is wrapped like a veil, and an oasis is hidden in the inside.

The multi-level garden in the heart space is the metaphor of paradise — water, pavilion and shade...

The simple geometry constantly repeats and evolves, creating classic Islamic patterns, and also inspires the building facades and patterns.

The hotel skyline echoes the local Makkah terrain feature, as a valley surrounded by mountains.

功能分区 Program

建筑体的底部属于公共区，由商业及公园组成。而三楼以上则是三座面向不同顾客群的塔楼，分别是三星级宾馆，住宅以及朝圣者招待所。

The public area including park and retail are at the bottom of the complex. Above the third floor are three towers for different demographics, including a three-star hotel, residential and pilgrims’ accommodation.

为了将建筑体打造为沙漠中的绿洲，我们精心设计了一套多层级的户外花园系统。系统包括中心庭院，分布在不同层级的户外社交花园，以及顶部的绿色屋顶花园，为建筑体提供了隔热降温和被动冷却的作用。

With the dream of recreating an oasis, we have carefully designed a multi-level garden system. This includes a central courtyard, green social gardens at different levels, and the green roof garden at the top, providing heat insulation and passive cooling.

Our concept responds to the theme of Mosaic on the 2

中心空间的中央，是一个正对着麦加大清真寺的大楼梯，流淌着的喷泉为中心空间营造出平静而尊崇的氛围。市民可长时间围坐在水边，享受着宁静的心境。

In the community courtyard where centralized with a grand stair facing Masjid al-Haram.Water fountain brings a quiet and respectful atmosphere into the heart space.People can spend a long time siting around the water, and enjoying the peaceful mind.

横贯整个建筑群的，是向不同朝圣者提供的礼拜堂，静立于建筑的不同高度上。我们的策略是将礼拜堂置于朝向麦加大清真寺的方向。如此一来，每个礼拜堂都能最大限度地令观众欣赏到大清真寺的景色。There are serval prayer halls for different users across the height of the complex. Prayer halls are strategically put facing the direction to Al Haram. The view to Haram is maximized on each of them.
