Nous visitons beaucoup d’appartements en Suède, et un peu moins en Norvège. Cet appartement à Oslo partage avec les Suédois, le goût des Scandinaves pour la décoration contemporaine douce, faite d’un bel équilibre entre les couleurs, les formes et les matières, parfois manquant d’audace, mais jamais de confort. On retrouve ici les principes de cettedécoration, les beaux matériaux naturels alliés à des espaces ouverts, des murs clairs, duparquet, en un mot un univers neutre pour que chacun puisse se sentir à l’aise.Cet appartement à Oslo est situé dans un immeuble construit en 1899, et a conservé les moulures et rosaces qui font l’intérêt d’un tel lieu. On retrouve également ce type d’ornementation à travers toute l’Europe, en France bien sûr avec le style Haussmannien, mais également en Scandinavie, en Autriche, et jusque dans l’Europe du Sud, Espagne et Italie, où ce type de bâtiment a connu son heure de gloire au 19e siècle. Très bien rénové comme ici, les hauts plafonds et les grandes fenêtres de ces lieux anciens mettent particulièrement bien en valeur les décorations actuelles, en mélangeant le meilleur des deux mondes.Flat in Oslo with a soft contemporary designWe visit a lot of flats in Sweden, and a little less in Norway. This flat in Oslo shares with the Swedes, the Scandinavian taste for soft contemporary decoration, made of a nice balance between colours, shapes and materials, sometimes lacking audacity, but never comfort. We find here the principles of this decoration, the beautiful natural materials combined with open spaces, clear walls, parquet floor, in a word a neutral universe so that everyone can feel at ease.This flat in Oslo is located in a building built in 1899, and has kept the mouldings and rosettes that make such a place interesting.
