对于宇宙这本书籍来说，时间是一个宏大的命题。

Time is a grand proposition for the book of the universe.

人们用各种方式在有限的时间中探寻无限的世界，以期能获得生命的终解。

People explore the infinite world in a finite time in various ways in order to obtain the final solution of life.

2009 年，霍金的无人派对证明了时间无法被逆转。但我们觉得，这个派对不应该就这样结束，因为我们还未赴宴。In 2009, the party hosted by Stephen Hawking for Time travellers at which nobody was present proved that time cannot be reversed. But we don’t think the party should end like that - because we should have attended the party.

于是，莳间 TIME 诞生了。

Thus, TIME WHISKY & COFFEE was born.

TIME WHISKY & COFFEE 位处海南海口市，设计师取名中“时间”二字为灵感之源，揉入这座沿海城市的热情与浪漫，尝试以空间营造的方式，让“时间”留驻在此。

TIME WHISKY & COFFEE is located in Haikou City, Hainan Province, whose name is the designers’ source of inspiration. The designers mixed the passion and romance of this coastal city in the design, trying to make “time” stay here by the way of space construction.

玻璃幕墙外立面让“莳间 TIME”像是一个漂浮在宇宙之中的气泡，它包裹着一个特别的小世界。暧昧的低语和馥郁的香气都被妥善保存，未来和过去都被凝固在此刻，在眼前反复播放。

The glass curtain wall façade makes TIME WHISKY & COFFEE look like a bubble floating in the universe which wraps a special little world. Ambiguous whispers and fragrant aromas are well preserved, while the future and the past are frozen in the moment and played repeatedly like movies in front of you.

在虚无幽暗的宇宙之中，时间是一个无法被视线捕捉的圆环。设计师将它具现为巨大的铜质内门户，灯光在平滑的黄铜表面映射出漂亮的弧形，如同深空中浮现的一抹幽光。人们行走在门户之下，亦如在时空中穿行。

In the empty and dark universe, time is a circle that cannot be captured by sight. The designers embody it as a huge brass inner portal, and the light reflects a beautiful arc on its smooth brass surface, just like a glimmer of light in deep space. When people walk through the portal, it is like traveling through time and space.

巨大的金属吧台和宽阔的酒柜提供了大量的储藏空间，暖光透过酒瓶散发的光芒，似乎让这个宇宙也散发出美酒和咖啡的芬芳。在无限的宇宙中，欢愉的派对也能永不散席。

The huge metal bar and the wide wine cabinet provide plenty of storage space, and the warm light through the wine bottles seems to make the universe emit fragrance of fine wine and coffee. In the infinite universe, happy parties will never end.

时间的凝滞具现出了时间之环，而星辰从时间的循环中逃脱，延迟的星光留下了神秘的星轨。星辰越过翻腾的星云，从浮沉的星海中掠过，长长的尾巴从吧台延伸到高耸的镜面吊顶，如同汇入虚空流转的星轨中去。吧台后方的墙面被大胆地设计成了波浪状的星云，明灭的灯光像在星海中闪烁的繁星，镜面吊顶让金属材质的星轨出现层叠的视觉误差，让人遐想时空穿梭是否近在咫尺。

The frozen time presents an appearance of a cycle, while a star escapes from the cycle of time whose delayed starlight leaves mysterious star trails. Through churning nebula and over surging sea of stars, the star, with a long tail extending from the bar to the soaring mirrored ceiling, seems to merge into the flowing star trails in the void. The wall behind the bar, which is boldly designed as a wavy nebula, makes the winking light look like stars twinkling in sea of stars. The mirrored ceiling makes the metal star trails appear a layered visual illusion, and makes people wonder if time travel is within easy reach.

穿过公共餐酒区，沿着螺旋的金属楼梯向上，二层的区域显得更加安静。这是特别为需要单独空间的人群准备的，烛光营造沉浸的氛围，光影在黑色的墙面上摇曳；温柔的光线舒缓亢奋的情绪，破损的镜面装饰，犹如一个个时间碎片，让人看清每一个自我。

Through the public dining and wine area and up the spiral metal staircase, it appears a quieter area on the second floor, which is specially prepared for people who need a separate space. The space is flooded with candlelight, light and shadow swaying on the black wall, where the gentle light soothes the excitement, and the ornamental broken mirror fragments are like pieces of time, making people see clearly each inner self.

“莳间 TIME”在日间显得低调而隐蔽，此时的“莳间”是一个属于咖啡爱好者的秘密基地，所以，这是一个 Coffee Time。外层的玻璃立面笼罩着略显昏暗的内部环境，通过小巧的门户巨大的铜质圆弧装饰后让访客与喧嚣的外界割裂，安享此刻宁静。

“TIME” appears low-key and hidden during the daytime when it is a secret base for coffee lovers, so this is a Coffee Time. The exterior glass façade shrouding the slightly dim interior environment, through the decoration of the small portal with its huge copper arc, visitors can be separated from the hustle and bustle of the outside world and enjoy the tranquility at the moment.

而晚上的“莳间 TIME”是另一种体验——Whisky Time，它让你四周环绕着星辰，沉醉在美酒的温柔乡，仿佛失去的时光都能借此一一寻回。

While “TIME” in the evening is another experience——Whisky Time. It allows you to be surrounded by stars,indulge in the tender world of fine wine, as if the lost time can be recovered one by one.

我们好似疲倦的旅人，从时间长河逆行回溯，穿越亿万重重星光，终于赴约了这场——无人邀请的时空派对。

We are like weary travelers, backtracking along the long river of time, through hundreds of millions of stars, and finally present at the uninvited party through time and space.
