C’est une maison simple qui se trouve près du lac Huron, en Californie. Ses propriétaires, Mjölk, John et Juli Baker, ont entièrement rénové à l’intérieur et utilisé le bois comme élément principal d’une décoration influencé à la fois par le style quaker et le style scandinave. C’est John qui a conçu entièrement la cuisine et l’a fait réaliser. L’énorme banc qui forme la frontière entre le salon et la cuisine est l’oeuvrede la Espada.
