中国酒店经过快速发展，整体市场趋于饱和，已进入存量时代，大量老旧及传统型酒店，由于开发年代或开发理念较为传统，亟需通过改造满足当下消费需求、提升运营效率。南平西方财富酒店就是其中之一。

After rapid development, the overall market of Chinese hotels tends to be saturated and has entered the stock era. A large number of old and traditional hotels are in urgent need of renovation to meet current consumer demand and improve operation efficiency due to their relatively traditional development era or concept. Nanping Western Fortune Hotel is one of them.

大堂改造以统一的线面组合打造空间的规整感与秩序性

；地面部分被保留下来的石材，则以质朴无华的旧肌理，连贯空间的调性，让再回来的客人不至于太过陌生。

The lobby renovation creates a sense of orderliness and order of the space with a unified combination of lines and surfaces; The stone material retained on the ground is of plain old texture and the tonality of coherent space, so that the guests who come back will not be too strange.

室内设计上，结合未来五至十年运营需求及商务会议人群对酒店体验追求，己盒概念以“减法”的方式，简化原空间繁复造型与装饰，构造一个干净、质朴、静谧的框架，让空间经得起时间的考验，也为情绪安放留下空白之处。

Interior design, combined with the operation needs of the next five to ten years and the pursuit of business conference people for hotel experience, the concept of The Box by "subtraction", simplify the original space complex modeling and decoration, to construct a clean, simple, quiet frame, so that the space can withstand the test of time, but also leave a blank place for emotional placing.

从业主“成本控制”要求出发，己盒概念对项目进行全面勘查后，基于建筑结构完整性，决定在不大改建筑的前提下，对室内空间进行焕新升级。

Based on the owner's "cost control" requirements, the project was comprehensively investigated with the concept of "Self box". Based on the structural integrity of the building, it was decided to renew and upgrade the interior space on the premise of not changing the building.

喜新却不厌旧，是对场所精神的认同，也是对项目最好的尊重。

Like the new but not tired of the old, is the recognition of the spirit of the place, but also the best respect for the project.

诺伯格·舒尔茨所说：尊重场所精神并不表示抄袭旧的模式，而是意味着肯定场所的认同并以新方式加以诠释。

Norberg Schulz says: Respecting the spirit of place does not mean copying old models, but affirming the identity of place and interpreting it in a new way.

由外而内的改变，不只是空间的外在形象，更是进入其中的人的内心状态。
