This Victorianmansionwas built in the English county of East Sussex in 1879. For more than 130 years, many directions in interior design have changed, but even after restoration, the atmosphere of grandeur and nobility has been preserved in this home. To the Victorian style, designer added objects and details in the Art Nouveau and mid-century styles – this helped to lighten the interiors and make them more relevant. Carved woodwork and beams, as well as luxurious fireplaces, look great with more modern thin-legged furniture and trendy decor. The bedroom on the second floor deserves special attention: it has a bathtub right by the stained-glass window – and it is incredibly beautiful.
