This charminghomeis located in the bay town of Gig Harbor in Puget Sound in Washington state. A family recently bought it for a weekend break, but the old cottage needed urgent and serious renovation. Designer Michelle Dirkse skillfully updated the interiors of the house, preserving the local charm and the original features of the building as much as possible.
