康沃尔石屋 | 古老与现代的完美交融

The Mowhay Rock en Cornouailles, est une maison en pierres agrandie et rénovée par le studioMatt Architecture.  Elle allie lestyle contemporainaux éléments anciens en respectant la beauté de ce qui a été fait autrefois, mais sans hésiter à entrer de plain-pied dans le 21e siècle. Son agrandissement a doublé sa surface habitable, permettant à deux familles d’y séjourner pour les vacances, sans pour autant se sentir à l’étroit.On a profité des travaux pour lui apporter l’isolation, le chauffage et les équipement àéconomie d’énergieque l’on installe désormais dans les constructions les plus performantes. La partie ajoutée s’intègre particulièrement bien à l’architecture d’origine, en reprenant les teintes de la façade et du toit. A l’intérieur de cette maison en pierres agrandie et rénovée, les pièces largement illuminées par les grands baies vitrées, sont meublées en style contemporain, avec un vert qui donne du peps et qui s’accorde à la couleur de l’herbe du jardin. It combines contemporary style with old features, respecting the beauty of what was once done, but not shying away from entering the 21st century. The extension has doubled the living space, allowing two families to stay in the house for the holidays without feeling cramped.The work was done to provide the insulation, heating and energy-saving equipment that is now installed in the most efficient buildings. The new addition blends in particularly well with the original architecture, using the same colours as the façade and roof. Inside the enlarged and renovated stone house, the rooms are brightly lit by the large windows and furnished in a contemporary style, with a lively green colour that matches the grass in the garden.
