La famille propriétaire de cet appartement en Espagne, rêvait depuis longtemps de s’agrandir, mais sans changer de quartier, puisque celui-ci correspondait parfaitement à la vie qu’ils aimaient. Lorsque l’appartement voisin a été mis à la vente, ils n’ont pas hésité une seconde pour l’acheter et réaliser enfin leur rêve de grands espaces. Ils ont confié le projet de réaménagement à l’architecte d’intérieurGloria Borrásqui a entièrement repensé la surface totale de 180m², n’oubliant pas dans sa réflexion un impératif des propriétaires : que l’appartementpuisse être de nouveau séparé dans l’avenir, lorsque les enfants seraient devenus grands et auraient quitté la maison. Elle a réalisé ici ce voeu, tout en adaptant les nouveaux volumes à leur vie actuelle. When the neighbouring flat was put up for sale, they didn’t hesitate for a second to buy it and finally realise their dream of more space. They entrusted the refurbishment project to the interior architect Gloria Borrás, who completely redesigned the total area of 180m², not forgetting one of the owners’ requirements: that the flat could be separated again in the future, when the children had grown up and left the house. Here she has fulfilled this wish, while adapting the new volumes to their current life.
