Les professionnels deStudio Pondont su tirer parti des vues sur le marais de la côte et de la rivière Alde en installant des grandes baies vitrées sur toute la longueur arrière de la maison. Le bardage noir à l’intérieur joue avec la couleur des luminaires, d’un canapé orange, ou d’un mobile façon Calder. A l’extérieur une annexe en bois a été créée pour accueillir un bureau qui donne sur un étang et le jardin. Devant la maison, un voiture française mythique, la DS, rappelle l’amour des propriétaires pour les années 1960.Light and airy architect’s house in SuffolkThis architect-designed house with its large, light-filled spaces is set in the bucolic Suffolk countryside. The professionals at Studio Pond have taken advantage of the views of the coastal marsh and the River Alde by installing large bay windows along the rear length of the house. The black cladding inside plays with the colour of the light fittings, an orange sofa, or a Calder-style mobile. Outside, a wooden annex has been created to accommodate an office overlooking a pond and the garden.
