Lorsque la designer Alexandra Ermilova deBüroBlancs’est vue confier ce  minuscule appartement  de 19 m²  dans un ancien bâtiment industriel construit en 1914 dans le centre de Moscou, elle savait que sa client avait acheté non pas une surface, mais du volume. Car le studio possédait une hauteur de 4,6m permettant d’ajouter une mezzanine pour la chambre et augmenter le nombre de mètres carrés disponibles.
