Fran et Lindsey Myhren – des entrepreneurs fleuristes qui ont crééSavia Bruta Diseño Floral-, et leur enfants vivent dans cette maison avec un jardin. Fran, qui a créé avec son frère en 2007 la sociétéModulab, avait construit cette maison prototype de deux-pièces pour pouvoir la montrer à ses clients. Lorsque la démonstration a été terminée, il a déconnecté les modules,  les a installé sur un terrain à Madrid, et a ajouté un étage et un sous-sol. Fran ajoute que cette maison durable a été  conçue par Modulab (dont c’est la spécialité) à partir  de matériaux à faible impact provenant de matières premières renouvelables , qu’elle n’utilise que des énergies renouvelables, qu’elle est efficace sur le plan énergétique. Fran, who founded the Modulab company with his brother in 2007, had built this two-room prototype house to show it to their clients. When the demonstration was finished, he disconnected the modules, installed them on a plot of land in Madrid, and added a floor and a basement. Fran adds that this sustainable house was designed by Modulab (which specializes in this field) using low-impact materials from renewable raw materials, uses only renewable energy and is energy efficient.
