Building on the success of its first business accelerator, FastForward, launched in 2013, Johns Hopkins University’s FastForward East intends to drive economic development in Baltimore by supporting local startups as they head to market. The affordable, turnkey workspace comprises 28 shared co-working space seats and six dedicated offices, along with a shared conference room, common room, kitchen and two wet labs for hands-on scientific research. The energy inside the daylight-infused, open workspace is palpable, thanks to its visible corner streetfront location. Vibrant colors unify the interiors, from walls to railings to light fixtures.
