In 2017, Gensler Sydney relocated to a street-level, double-height former retail space in a recently refurbished 26-storey office tower in the heart of the Sydney CBD. Based on the team’s belief that the design process should always be a conversation, the space exudes the casual confidence of a sophisticated boutique hospitality venue, the comfort and warmth of a familiar local café, and the charisma of the world’s leading design practice. It is a space for creativity and focus, for co-creation and collaboration, for socialising and entertaining, for friends and family, and for clients and prospective clients to make themselves at home. The space has helped reinvigorate the building by bringing a new livelihood to the ground plane.
