Hulu’s new customer experience center expands the company’s presence in San Antonio to take advantage of recruitment opportunities while providing room to grow in the vibrant, close-knit culture of the city. The design divides the floorplates into quadrants, each tying back to the city in their own way with large-scale wall graphics. Not only does this help avoid a sea of workstations, but it also acts as a wayfinding device for employees. The graphics themselves draw inspiration from San Antonio’s rich heritage, using vibrant colors and nods to local cultural icons. Mexican papel picado-inspired graphics activate the walls with rich blues, purples, and reimagined Hulu-branded colors. Art and culture play an important role in establishing the aesthetic, pulling everything together into a cohesive, fun, and grounded space.
