Part innovation lab, part coworking space and part civic forum, Impact Hub Baltimore brings together mission-driven innovators, entrepreneurs and organizations across the city’s social-impact network. With its goal of maintaining an inclusive, diverse membership reflective of Baltimore’s population, the space needed inherent flexibility to meet its users’ evolving needs. Located in a repurposed theater, the aesthetic is one of “incremental architecture,” encouraging users to take ownership and make it their own. Vibrantly colored doorframes, eclectic furniture manufactured or sourced from local businesses, and a large mural provide a lively identity to the innovative space.
