After Gensler’s success designing L’Oréal’s Hudson Yards headquarters, the beauty leader tapped Gensler to design a boutique outpost for its creative departments. Located in the Terminal Stores Building in the West Chelsea Historic District, Gensler took cues from the building’s unique industrial character to design an environment that sparks creativity and inspiration. A large living and dining area is centrally located in the office, encouraging employee interaction and collaboration. Common spaces are completely customizable, allowing employees to adjust the environment to be more private and focused or collaborative and public.
