In designing a new location in Newport Beach, California, NVision wanted to create a modern space that reflects its high-tech, guest-focused approach to patient care. NVision partnered with Gensler to create an inviting, spa-like environment that is more hospitality in nature than it is clinical. The design team worked to reorganize the existing floorplate and cutouts, embracing the building’s angled walls to create visual intrigue and direct attention towards the main focal point, the Procedure Room. This innovative floorplan solution showcases NVision’s business and transparent approach towards patient care. The program includes a refreshed lobby and a series of lounge-like waiting areas, cataract and Lasik procedure rooms, two diagnostic areas, ten exam rooms, six consultation rooms, three recovery bays and staff support areas including a dining/kitchen area and storage.
