Organon, a growing global women’s health company, tapped Gensler to design an innovative headquarters for its new workforce in a Jersey City high-rise. Early conversations with leaders drove the guiding design principle: limitless sights into women’s health and wellbeing. The physical manifestation of this design vision is experienced throughout the three-story workplace that offers expansive 360-degree views of the New York City skyline, Hudson River, and Statue of Liberty. Gensler leveraged visioning sessions with Organon’s leadership to establish subtle design themes that reflect the new pharmaceutical company’s health organization’s purpose: a refined, elegant, and feminine approach that communicates its dedication to a healthier every day for every woman. An open stair encourages movement and connections and links three floors of the workplace with social hubs, coffee bars, business technology “BT” bar and support, meeting rooms, and a convertible town hall space.
