In the heart of Tampa’s rapidly revitalizing downtown, along its recently completed river promenade, Riverwalk Place will rise over 50 stories to be the tallest building on Florida’s west coast. More significantly, the project aims to be Tampa’s first urban mixed-use development, complementing the city’s master plan and creating a series of activated spaces supporting work, live, and play lifestyles in one location. Gensler completed the schematic design for the project, which proposes utilizing the final undeveloped parcel along the Riverwalk and connecting to the adjacent MacDill Park in order to integrate with the urban fabric and extend its social impact beyond property lines.
