Snapdragon Stadium is a modern 35,000-seat stadium for SDSU Football. This Division 1 stadium features unparalleled landscaped, outdoor concourses to provide spacious and exciting experiences that are authentically “of San Diego” and geared towards all fans. The stadium design also features a variety of premium seating options and signature social decks, offering amazing views of the field. Snapdragon Stadium represents the first project for SDSU’s Mission Valley Campus expansion, anchoring the new, game-changing entertainment and education district. This design-build project opened to the public in September 2022 to kick off the start of Aztec Football’s season and create an immersive gameday experience for fans. In addition to the Aztecs, Snapdragon Stadium is home to the NWSL San Diego Wave FC as well as the recently announced expansion team for Major League Soccer in San Diego.
