This new training facility for the MLS’ newest franchise, Austin FC, is designed to leverage the power of soccer to make a positive impact locally in community and youth wellness. A 30,000-square-foot performance building for professional and youth academy players supports sports medicine and training needs while three full-sized soccer pitches and one half-sized pitch offer a cultural amenity for youth sports and public event use. St. David’s Performance Center promotes mental and physical balance in a healthy environment designed to support conditioning and rehabilitation for players. Indoor-outdoor training spaces — with ample access to natural light — set a tone for achieving performance success, both on and off the pitch. The Performance Center anchors the Parmer Pond Complex, a 23-acre community recreation, office, and entertainment district adjacent to the facility.
