台北漂浮反射屋丨中国台北

The site is located within the alleys of the area near the center of Taipei city. The area is filled with old apartment buildings with vary heights and ages, and there is a small park right next to the site. We want to take advantage of the only open space idea within this high - density area by setting back all the programs and creates another open space merging the neighbor park as one enjoyable neighborhood landscape.

Due to the open space, the building - reception center became the main focal point in the area and the interface - façade facing directly the open space could be very intriguing.

We would like to introduce a welcome and yet sophisticated architectural message for this project. An elevated roof with semi reflective metal panels projects an illusion of the interior space and also creating movement from the water feature below before entering the building. Walls and grille on the façade reveal part of the interior space as well.

This transparency + reflective quality of the façade combining the greenery open space is the experience before entering the building. And we create a semi indoors outdoors experience after entering it. The openings on the roof bring in sun light and shadow and make the spatial experience even more dramatic.

位处台北市中心的小巷弄内，基地三面皆为老旧、密集的建物，唯有一侧面临公园绿地，设计上，希望规避压迫、繁杂的老旧建物，并进一步拥抱邻近的开放绿地。根据这样的想法，配置上，在靠近公园的面向退缩出大块的开放空间，作为景观、步道与停车用途，让邻里的公园绿地自然与基地的开放空间连成一气，延伸了基地的景观。

除了外部景观的延伸，如何塑造基地由内向外的视觉效果，也是本设计的思考重点，藉由开放空间的退缩，水池、绿树与木格栅皮层的围塑，创造出属于空间内部的景观效果，至于希望设法规避的杂乱街景，设计上采用一个漂浮屋顶的概念，将各空间量体穿插设置于这个大屋顶下，利用屋顶与量体间脱开的透空面作为采光之功能，一方面阻绝外部的街景，却又让空间及光影有所延伸。

漂浮屋顶的概念并结合了微反射的铝材，及天窗的手法，让空间随着不同时间的光影，衍伸出多种戏剧化的效果，不论是阳光透过天窗洒下的光影，亦或是铝板天花反射水池波动的影像，营造出各式的变化，增添空间参访的另一番感受！

The design includes multiple indoor spaces, semi-outdoor spaces, pond and greenery under a huge elevated and reflective roof. The roof brings the light into the space through the skylarks but also blocks some unsightly building around.
