项目位于杭州中心黄金地段的开元酒店的顶楼,虽然身处繁华闹市中,将外部景观引入室内,又在室内增加多层次的局部景观,正如园林是山水自然的顺畅延续,讲求与环境的交融。西子湖的妩媚与武林的烟火人间都成为揽入眼底的景致,犹如一幅现代的清明上河图徐徐展开。
The project is located on the top floor of the New Century Grand Hotel in the prime central area of Hangzhou. Being situated in a bustling city center, it incorporates external landscapes and integrates multi-level partial landscapes into the interior. Just as gardens seamlessly extend the natural scenery, it emphasizes the integration with the environment. You can feast your eyes on the enchanting beauty of West Lake and the vibrant atmosphere of Wulin at a single glance, unfolding like a modern version of the famous painting “Along the River During the Qingming Festival”.

在内部空间处理上,为了保证开阔的视野,虽有多种规格的用餐区分布,但多以屏风隔断作为分割,表达远近的空间层次,影影绰绰间,显而不露,这也是园林中常用的“漏景”手法,虚实变幻将江南婉约的文化传统与中式的审美意趣表达的淋漓尽致。
To ensure an open view in the interior space, various dining areas are distributed by screens to express the level of spatial and create an elusive and subtle atmosphere. The leakage scenery is commonly used in garden design, where the interplay of reality and illusion vividly showcases the graceful cultural traditions of Jiangnan  and the aesthetic charm of Chinese style.

空间结构上以苏式园林为范本进行了充分吸收与再造,同时又将项目上下两层从立体的维度进行协同考量,不仅在格局上关注空间的延伸、渗透与分隔,更在上下空间的转折上充分的体现了空间的序列关系组织,充分彰显了江南园林中多空间、多视点和连续性变化等特点。
The spatial structure of the project draws inspiration from Suzhou-style gardens and incorporates them through absorption and re-creation. Additionally, the project takes into account the coordination between the two levels. It not only focuses on the extension, penetration, and division of space in term of layout but also fully embodies the sequential organization of space in the transitions between upper and lower levels, which effectively showcases the characteristics of Jiangnan gardens, such as multiple spaces, multiple viewpoints, and continuous changes.

从入口处就以曲折的走廊起笔,辅点缀配合艺术雕塑作品与景观墙,将人们从原本喧嚣繁华的城市环境逐渐带入到餐厅所营造的一方宁静之中,观者移步异景,行进过程都增添几分雅趣。顺着动线进入开阔的公共空间,才发现眼前豁然开朗,不同的就餐区与功能区之间错落有致。沿着黄铜材质旋转楼梯,天花上坠下的珊瑚红纺线缠绕的圆形装置又为其增添了几份江南的妩媚与柔情。
Starting from the entrance, a winding corridor adorned with art sculptures and landscape walls gradually takes people away from the bustling city and into a tranquil atmosphere created by the restaurant. As observers move through the space, they encounter captivating views, adding a touch of elegance and interest to their journey. Following the circulation path, one enters an expansive public area, where different dining and functional zones are skillfully arranged. Along the brass spiral staircase, a circular installation adorned with coral-red threads hanging from the ceiling adds to the enchanting ambiance of Jiangnan.

拾级而上,又是另一方洞天——规模大小各异的包厢空间被根据需求合理排布,用借景、夹景、隔景、障景等手法,不断变化着空间与空间,空间与景色之间或远或近的关系。局部抬高几级的楼梯为平层空间中创造出不一样的空间节奏,在辅以现代几何的点线面构造关系。
Ascending further, another hidden scenery reveals itself—thoughtfully and strategically arranged private dining spaces in various sizes. The relationships between different spaces and scenery constantly change through gardening methods such as borrowed scenery, obstuctive scenery. Partially elevated staircases introduce a different spatial rhythm within the flat-level areas, complemented by modern geometric relations of points, lines, and surfaces.

空间内部的局部造景上也颇有文人墨客的雅韵,走道的塑造上以黄铜色的铝板天花与黑色的火山岩石墙面的走道,是对宋式水墨画的现代化演绎,赋予了通道空间以沉静的意境与氛围。拐角处出现的如书桌一般布置的茶位,就像藏于园林深处的水边的书轩又或者画舫,用以打发主人独处时念书抚摸琴又或者招待亲友的悠然时光。进入包厢后,又被温暖的材质与柔和的曲线所包裹,天地不大,不过眼前一餐一蔬。
The interior partial garden design also exudes the elegance of literati. The aisle combines brass-colored aluminum panel ceilings with black volcanic rock walls, offering a modern interpretation of ink wash paintings in Song Dynasty and imparting a serene ambiance to the passageways. At corners, siting in the tea seatings is the same as sitting by the desk. This tranquil space, just like waterside study hidden within gardens or floating boats, provides a environment for the host to read, play the piano, or entertain close friends. Upon entering the private dining rooms, one is surrounded with warm materials and gentle curves. The world may be vast, but all that matters is the simple meal before us.

Ming Kitchen remains true to its original inspiration, inherits and recreates the flavor of Zhejiang cuisine. It embraces the past while staying rooted in the present,  showing respect to form and meaning of the space through modern techniques.
