In the Latvian parish of Malta, the project of architect Matan Gal is located next to the forest and river. The building covers only 450 square meters, but its design concept and scale are quite unique. The materials used in the entire project mainly include wood and metal, presenting a modern residence that combines modernity with nature.

After deep research on the characteristics of the local suburbs in Latvia, we carefully created a simple and exquisite Jekinde-style gable roof, which is cleverly complemented by loft windows. By cleverly extending the edge of the roof, it can be flexibly adjusted according to adjacent elements, showing great adaptability.

屋顶的突出部分覆盖着一层多孔板，既能有效阻挡直射阳光，又可在关键位置进行操作，从而避免对视觉的干扰。

The protruding part of the roof is covered with a porous screen, which can effectively block direct sunlight and allow for operation at key locations, thus avoiding visual interference.

The main building is skillfully placed in the extension of the lot, presented in a horizontal position, aiming to enhance the physical and visual connection with the surrounding environment.

The building is divided into four equal volume units, two outer Spaces are carefully arranged as living units, and two floors are set up on the first floor to host various public events and meet social needs.

The mezzanine above it is cleverly transformed into a quiet, private resting space. The other two internal spaces are cleverly transformed into a studio, with twice the height of the original space, providing ample work and creative space. The middle wall can be flexibly divided or combined to increase the diversity and flexibility of the space.
