Maria Aucejo work is characterized by the fluidity of the creative process according to the needs of each project, the study of context and inherited landscape. I reconcile in my practice work projects with writing and theoretical research.

Eugenia 想要一个没有客厅的房子。她想要一所房子，厨房是社交生活的核心，每个人都有一个宽敞的卧室，在那里他们可以有自己的世界。她决定翻新位于巴塞罗那Eixample的一栋1900年建筑中的公寓，交换白天和夜晚的区域，以实现这种不寻常的分布。

Eugenia wanted a house without a living room. She wanted a house where the kitchen was the core of social life and everyone had a good, spacious bedroom where they could have their own world. She decided to renovate an apartment in a building from 1900 located in the Eixample of Barcelona, exchanging the day and night areas to achieve this unusual distribution.

水泥使所有的房间均匀化，保护潮湿的区域，后退一步，将聚光灯投射到深色木材和瓷器上，这些材料从第一次会议开始就出现在项目中。

The cement homogenizes all the rooms and protects the wet areas, takes a step back and gives the spotlight to the dark woods and porcelain, materials that have been present in the project from the first meeting.

现有的木门和窗户被修复，保留了原住宅的部分精髓，与带有烟熏玻璃和镜子效果的金属推拉门形成对比。

Existing wooden doors and windows are restored, keeping part of the essence of the original house to contrast with the metal sliding doors with smoked glass and mirror effect.
