在法国的阿尔卑斯山滑雪场附近，一个总面积为530平方米的传统小木屋中，Noé Duchaufour Lawrance为其设计了非常流线，现代，有机的室内。整个小木屋的中心是一个大客厅，那里有着一个温暖火炉，家具便围绕其布置。房间各处都使用到了各种设计优美的家具，别具一格的床头柜，以及漂浮的床……..这些都为房间增色不少。项目2011年12月完工。

Far from the geometric construction methods of a traditional chalet, the interior architecture of this family home is a domestic landscape whose forms emerge from the ground like small functional mountains rising from a valley. Reso-lutely fluid and modern, the result is a set of lines and organic forms composed around a strip of wood. A large, main room is set above the whole construction, defining the central point of the chalet where the family comes together around a warm hearth.

About Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance

Designer and interior architect, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance has defined his own language using natural shapes which are supple, organic, fluid and structured at the same time. A double passion for the material and for the shape embodied by a double-faceted course of studies: first of all following metal sculpture course (at the Ecole Nationale Supé-rieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers dA’rt), then design at the Arts Décoratifs in Paris. In response to a creatively rich past (his father was a sculptor), Noé Duchaufour- Lawrance very quickly displayed an unusual aesthetic quality, which stands out, beginning with the restaurant Sketch in Soho in 2002 where he served as artistic director, and his interior design was soon acclaimed by the international scene with his organic and urban style.

Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance henceforth seizes each project as a real opportunity to (re)define an aesthetic quality of his own. Rapidly putting his ideas into practice within a temple of haute French cuisine, he subjected Senderens (formerly known as Lucas Carton) to a first-rate face-lift. Inside, the luminous tables and engraved mirrors nestle within ancient wooden panelling in a decor where the in situ ceiling, reinterprets Majorelle’s lines. A successful gamble where Art Nou- veau and design, sensual curves and rational modernity join forces as some of Noé’s work’s assets.

A key year when he was discovered by Maison & Objets and voted ‘Designer of the Year’ in 2007, the same year he left his mark upon the interior decor of the Maya Bar in Monaco, renovated the famous Maison Sénéquier in St Tropez and devised the new architectural identity of the Air France business class lounges, in partnership with Brandimage.

Always deepening his plastic vocabulary, Noé also knows how to serve brands through his design as dramatically pro- ven by the success of One Million for Paco Rabanne, best seller ever since it was released in 2009, followed by Lady Million ! Regularly collaborating with beauty and cosmetics sectors, Noé has created the new architectural identity of Yves St Laurent Beauté in 2010, a black boxes system as enigmatic and mysterious as French creator can be.

Above all a designer, furnishing and objects are a permanent feature of his work for prestigious producers in France and Italy where he freely expresses his elegant vocabulary, with the emblematic Manta desk in the furniture line for Ceccotti collezioni, with its elegant intertwined curved lines and ramifications. In parallel, he has designed Rémanence, a candela- bra, for Baccarat and the Derby armchair for Zanotta. 2010 sees confirmation of his collaboration with Zanotta and Ceccotti collezioni, and success with new producers: Cinna with his Ottoman armchairs and sofa collection and Bern- hardt Design with the Corvo chair, emblematic of the double interpretation that Noé wants to give his objects, bestowed with a Red Dot Design Award 2011. Collaborations acclaimed by the press and by his peers, awarded by Wallpaper and Elle Déco 2009 for the «Buonanotte valentina» bed with Ceccotti collezioni, as well as the Gold Award Neocon 2010 for Corvo with Bernhardt Design.

Inaugurated in May 2010, galerie BSL is one of his latest interior architecture projects in Paris dedicated to design and fashion for which he created a huge ‘volute’ or spiral which is both a case and a display stand on an architectural scale. He has recently designed a seats collection for Fasem, the interior of a chalet for private clients in the French Alps and is working on designing new places in Paris and abroad. So many projects which hallmark his approach to luxury with an organic, sculptural and sensual design where shapes and colours confront and caress each other blending together so well.
