山海间丨中国厦门丨二木营造

所爱山海，山海可期。俗世的浪漫，在朝夕相映的轮回中，在抬眼望山翠满人间，殊不知今夕何年的闲暇度日中。项目坐落于厦门狐尾山公园的一处角落，山与海的交界处，城市的喧闹仿佛被隔绝在外，框得一处窗景为意蕴山河的画，沉静地欣赏大自然最原始的风光，便也可慰藉向往自由的灵魂。

Love the mountains and the sea, and they never fail to impress me. Their beauty and majesty are awe-inspiring. The world's romance is reflected in the cycle of night and day, and the leisurely moments spent gazing at the mountains and the sea, which make us lose track of time, as if we were in a different era. The project is situated at a picturesque corner of Xiamen Foxtail Mountain Park, where the mountains meet the sea. Here, the hustle and bustle of the city seems to fade away, and the breathtaking window view frames a painting-like scenery of mountains and rivers. It offers a tranquil and serene environment where you can bask in the raw beauty of nature and soothe your soul that craves freedom.

本案为老旧二手房的拆改重造，几乎推倒重来的结构再造，让我们重新审视空间能够给予人的精神力量。拆除大面积的立面结构，置换开阔的视野，明丽的景观得以穿透冰冷的建筑肌理，涌入室内的边边角角，建立起人与自然的内在联系，焕发空间灵动的生命力。

This project involves the demolition and reconstruction of an old, second-hand house, which essentially amounts to a complete structural overhaul. Through this process, we are able to re-examine the transformative effect that space can have on people's well-being.By removing the cumbersome façade structure and opening up the view, natural light and scenic views can permeate the cold architectural texture and flow into every corner of the interior. This establishes a stronger connection between the occupants and the natural world, imbuing the space with a dynamic sense of vitality.

携景生意：自窗外一隅山景为始，延出空间的主体脉络。莽莽密林随风行止，粼粼海浪映照波光。因景设境，以动承静，通过简化空间内部装饰的形式，强化窗外的繁丽自然。对空间设计的理解，不既定于目光可轻易触及的立面，重点来到对层顶的解读。几何线条提供动态的视觉传递，引入镜面元素，延展视线的高度，自此，空间已不局限于平面的延伸，在纵向的范畴，同样探寻着视线交错的舒展之感。

Beautiful scenery produces conception: Starting with the breathtaking mountain scenery outside the window, the main theme of the space is seamlessly extended. The dense forest sways in the wind, while the sparkling waves reflect the radiance of the sun. By adopting a minimalist approach to the interior design, the stunning natural beauty beyond the window is enhanced. The comprehension of spatial design goes beyond the superficial appearance that can be effortlessly perceived by the eyes and instead centers on the interpretation of the uppermost level of the structure. The use of geometric lines creates a visually dynamic transmission, while the incorporation of mirrors enhances the perception of height, expanding the space beyond the two-dimensional plane and exploring the sensation of interlocking sight lines stretching vertically.

动静有常：在结构的处理上，遵循隔而不断的状态，达成形散意聚的居住效果，家庭成员在日常对空间的使用中，既有独立的私人领域，又可在空隙中感受到与家人间的互动关系。蜿蜒的层顶如是引领，划下视线交错的轨迹。将自然的意象打碎揣摩，糅合进空间的细枝末节。天然洞石的纹理模拟砂石土壤，构成背景，配合细腻的木质地板，在视觉与触觉上达到双重遐想的巅峰。

Movement and stillness are constant: In terms of the structure, the aim is to achieve a sense of scattered meanings gathered, in accordance with the state of constant separation. This allows family members to experience interaction within the family relationship while utilizing both independent private areas and shared spaces in their daily lives. The winding path of the floor guides the way, tracing the interweaving sight lines. The natural imagery is intricately woven into every aspect of the space, with even the smallest details incorporating elements of nature. The texture of the travertine, which resembles sand and soil, forms a beautiful backdrop that, combined with the elegant wooden flooring, creates a stunning visual and tactile experience.

引述自然：不因窗外的景致浅尝辄止，我们更试图在空间的内部，描绘与日常接壤的自然。从山海中探寻意象，拆解为符号化的解读；从山经辗转的过程获取灵感，化形于空间行走的脉络。内与外的必然关系被打碎后重新链接，我们赋予空间全新的组合方式。光线经材质的折射漫布于空间，交错间带来光与影的变幻，明亮与阴翳双重存在，恰到好处的产生让人愉悦而舒展的姿态。一如这世界，随着明与暗，盛与衰的更替，周而复始地上演着生命的动人魅力。

Introduction of Nature: Instead of simply gazing out the window, we aimed to capture the essence of the natural world that surrounds us in our daily lives within the interior of our space. Our team broke down the imagery of the mountains and the sea into symbolic interpretations. Inspiration was drawn from the way mountains erode, transforming into veins that run through the space.  We sought to break and re-link the inherent relationship between the interior and exterior, creating a new and innovative combination within the space. The space is illuminated by the refraction of the material, which creates a diffused light that plays with the interplay of light and shadow. This duality of brightness and shade produces a pleasing and elongated posture. Just as the world experiences the alternation of light and darkness, prosperity and decay, the captivating essence of life is repeatedly staged.

设计没有去炫技般地雕刻空间大刀阔斧的形态，而是以娓娓道来的笔法，构述一个家最自然舒适的样貌。从空间的氛围感入手，沉静地赋予其承载时光的能力，成为日常最温暖的注脚。我们无法决定这个世界该以怎样的角度切入展开，但起码居所可由喜好而来。

The design approach does not attempt to manipulate the space like a display case, but instead aims to showcase the natural and comfortable feel of a home with an unfolding style. Beginning with the ambiance of the space, the design subtly imbues it with the ability to endure through time and become a heartwarming accompaniment to daily life.We may not have control over how the world unfolds, but at least we can choose the home we prefer.

而所居山海间的意义，也并不止步于浅显的自然本身，更是对居住空间的定义与重塑。以山海为题，融入结构的起伏，梳理自然与居住的维系关系。

Living in the mountains or by the sea goes beyond the mere physical environment; it involves redefining and reshaping our living spaces. By incorporating the theme of mountains and sea into the architectural design, we can explore the relationship between nature and living in a more profound way. The undulating structure reflects the beauty and harmony of natural surroundings.
