When I first arrived in Chengdu, my heart was like a clenched fist. The air, the dialect, can unleash your instincts and relax you, but most of all the food, the warmth and languor that melts any British rigidity like butter in the sun. -- Shark's Fin and Sichuan Pepper

成都，一座能看见雪山的城市，一直按照与生俱来的节奏，在浩瀚的历史长河中，保持着自己原本的气质，也适度地容纳着外来文化的补充和滋养。这里的街巷和建筑，生动地述说着城市空间形态的独特，本土同现代兼收并蓄，市井气息与国际浪潮和而不同，城市新旧场域之间多维度的张力在这里张驰有度。

Chengdu, a city with a view of the snow-capped mountains, has always maintained its original temperament in the vast history and appropriately accommodated the supplement and nourishment of foreign cultures in accordance with its inherent rhythm. The streets and buildings here vividly illustrate the uniqueness of urban space form, the integration of local and modern, the harmony of market atmosphere and international wave, and the multi-dimensional tension between the old and new fields of the city.

设计师从建筑、景观概念切入，户外的松枝透过茶室的落地玻璃门悄悄映入室内，一株矮松则静静伫立在室内茶台旁，形成某种既定画面非对称的平衡感。在光线暗淡的负一层空间，金色背景的挂画和透明的铂晶茶具映耀着微弱光芒，在这里独自品酌或与亲朋对饮，情思爽然，乃人间乐事。

Starting from the concept of architecture and landscape, the outdoor pine branches quietly enter the room through the floor-to-ceiling glass door of the teahouse, while a dwarf pine stands quietly beside the indoor tea table, forming a sense of asymmetrical balance of the established picture. In the dark space of the negative floor, the hanging pictures with golden background and the transparent platinum crystal tea set reflect the faint light. It is a joy to drink alone or drink with relatives and friends.

设计师立足中国传统文化，以当代人文的国际视野，探索东方哲思启迪下材料和光影演绎的宜居实践，将纵向而绵长的线条，开凿在通高的山水纹大理石墙面上，以描绘心中万千气象。设计师以家的温暖诠释生活的真意，每个独立空间各司其职，相互联系、作用，从而融合成空间机能完整的家庭聚会空间，符合家庭成员生活习性的同时也能彼此陪伴。

Based on The traditional Chinese culture, the designer explores the livable practice of materials and light deduction inspired by Oriental philosophy with a contemporary humanistic international perspective. The longitudinal and long lines are chiseled on the double-height marble wall with landscape patterns to depict the beauty in the mind. The designer interprets the true meaning of life with the warmth of home. Each independent space plays its own role and interacts with each other, thus integrating into a family gathering space with complete spatial function, which can accompany each other while conforming to the living habits of family members.
