宜美术馆坐落于美丽的中国东南隅福州，以推广福建的新艺术和挖掘新的福建艺术为己任，努力于备疏当代中国艺术史的福建现象。

Located in the beautiful southeastern corner of China, Fuzhou, Yi Art Museum is committed to promoting new art in Fujian and exploring new Fujian art, in an effort to prepare for the Fujian phenomenon in contemporary Chinese art history.

把一种时间的厚度与过去的情感链接起来，建筑空间并非是物体的填充，也不是一个迟钝的盒子，而是人意识与精神栖息的诗学，庇护着白日梦也守护着造梦者，是一种向内求的秘境，是记忆与灵魂的栖息之地。我们诗意的构建建筑，建筑也在灵性地建构着我们。

Connecting the thickness of a kind of time with the emotion of the past, the architectural space is not the filling of objects, nor a dull box, but the poetics of human consciousness and spirit, which shelters the daydream and guards the dreammaker, is a secret realm of inward seeking, and a habitat of memory and soul. As we poetically construct architecture, architecture also constructs us spiritually.
