老式老人中心改造丨西班牙丨BU Arquitectura

The architecture studio BU Arquitectura from San Sebastian, Spain is responsible for this project that has turned an old-fashioned elder center into a public cultural space. In this project, both contemporary and antique pieces of furniture coexist in harmony, reinforcing the main idea of the project: intergenerationality.

曲线是这个400平方米空间的主角，在这里不仅有学习区、阅读区、起居室和类似 "室外庭院 "的室内空间，还有展览区、工作室、投影区甚至咖啡厅！

The curves are the protagonists of this 400m2 space, where you can find not only a study zone, a reading area, a living room and an indoor space that resembles an 'exterior patio', but also an exhibition area, rooms for workshops, a projection area and even a cafe!

文化是为每个人服务的，因此跨代性一直是这个项目的主要方针。老年人和年轻人必须能够在一个让他们有家的感觉的空间里相互滋养。这也是所有项目都以家庭用途为基础的原因，将通常看似不近人情的地方变成一个超级舒适温馨的地方。

Culture is for everyone, so intergenerationality has always been the main approach in this project. Elderly people as well as younger ones have to be able to nourish each other in a space that makes them feel like home. That is the reason why all the program has been based on domestic uses, turning what usually seems an impersonal place, into a super comfortable and cozy one to stay at.
