金沢建筑館丨日本丨谷口吉生

金沢建築館与城市设计博物馆由世界著名建筑师谷口吉生设计。它坐落在其的父亲Yoshiro Taniguchi的故居旧址上，其父是一名著名建筑师，也是金泽市的第一位荣誉市民。其中一件展品是仿照他的名作“Yushintei”，这是Akasaka宾馆的日式附属建筑。游客可以看到谷口吉生建筑师的建筑作品，也可以了解金泽多层次的建筑文化。

Kanazawa Museum of architecture and urban design was designed by the world-renowned architect Yoshio Taniguchi. It stands on the site of the former residence of Yoshiro Taniguchi, Yoshio’s father, who is an established architect and the first honorary citizen of Kanazawa City. Among its displays is a replica of Yoshiro Taniguchi’s famous work, “Yushintei”, the Japanese-style annex of the State Guest House Akasaka Palace. Visitors can see architectural works of both Taniguchi architects, as well as learn about Kanazawa’s multi-layered architectural culture.

Yoshio is busily engaged in the world while also creating a new appeal of Kanazawa through the design of D.T SUZUKI MUSEUM and others in the city. Yoshio relates that he was evacuated to Kanazawa for safety during the war in his early childhood, and was raised learning the culture of Kanazawa from his grandfather and father. In this way, Taniguchi conveys the architectural ideas of the father-son architects; an ideology that was both raised by Kanazawa and helped raise Kanazawa.

Designed by Yoshiro Taniguchi, Mr. Taniguchi's father, the permanent exhibition hall is a faithful recreation of the hall and teahouse of Kuniakasaka's Yushintei, a Japanese annex. Yoshio Taniguchi's complex surrounds the space, further highlighting the permanent exhibits. In this way, people can experience their father and son's work at the same time.
