Harmony of surfaces, extension of materials and details are the key words in the design of house No.24.
In this project, the combination and coexistence of two main and unifying materials, elm wood and travertine stone, cover the interior walls and define the areas of the house. In this house, the dominant material is elm wood, which forms a series of four-cut and continuous grill grids, which form monolith plates that cover the foreground walls and finishing layers. These grill grids are placed on the roof in the southern part of the house and in addition to covering the cooling and installation units of the main living space, they define the Furnished zone and create a warm atmosphere for the residents. Another set of wooden profiles in the middle of the house and the extension of the kitchen make a rail wall to hide the bar unit and elsewhere in the border of the living room and bedrooms, they filter the public and private space of the house by opening and closing.
Wood material can be seen in other components, elements and furniture (such as kitchen cabinet plate and its frame, island counter, dining table and even in details of the lighting design) and they add warmth to the house. The complementary material of wood is veined travertine stone, which covers the background surfaces and walls. This material extends on the background of the linear and modern fireplace wall in the main living room and then covers the background mass of the TV-Set and the walls of the private living room and the background surfaces and walls of the bedrooms.
Another indicator of this project is the technical details in the construction and implementation of quality and efficient details.
