- NEW EXTENSION PROJECT FOR THE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS -

CU-ICAR OVERVIEW

In Greenville, South Carolina, the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research is a 300 acres automotive and motor sports research campus. Also it includes a graduate school that offers Master’s and Doctoral degrees in automotive engineering, as well as programs focused on systems integration.

CU-ICAR MISSION

Being a high learning institution in the field of automotive engineering directing translational research with a focus on industrial relevance contribute to the creation of high-value jobs in South Carolina lead global thinking on the sustainable development of the automotive sector.

CUI CAR DEVELOPMENT GOALS

1- Attractiveness of campus to prospective students, researchers, faculty and employees. Particularly undergraduate students.

2- Connectivity to Greenville community and downtown environment.

3- Technology showcase and living labs for sustainable mobility.

4- Creating ‘Collisions’ or interactions among students, faculty, corporates, researchers and entrepreneurs.

5- Attractiveness to corporate tenants and site selection professionals to promote economic development.

Followed by a technical session where the Egyptian students (30 students from the department of Architecture Engineering ,5 students from the department of Urban Planning And Design &10 Students From department of Environmental Architecture and Urbanism Program) presented their international collaborative graduation project.
