Overlooking the iconic castle, its interior features a relief wall echoing a local confectionery’s past, alongside striking blue and sophisticated black accents. This contemporary space not only offers luxury but also narrates the rich history of its location.

Captivating Modern Living in Ljubljana

Nestled in the heart of Ljubljana, The Central Apartment stands in a newly constructed residential building. Its prestigious location offers stunning views of the historic castle, sparking a unique interior design. Consequently, this setting infuses the apartment with a blend of modernity and heritage.

Elegant Design Choices

We preserved the original layout, introducing only subtle enhancements. Opting for a light gray palette, the furniture exudes a calm, neutral tone, occasionally heightened by ribbed textures. Similarly, some surfaces feature raw MDF, treated to complement this aesthetic. Furthermore, in the living area’s core, a striking blue sofa draws the eye, balanced by understated red accents in smaller decor items. Additionally, black elements like frames, shelves, lighting, and a black veneered table add layers of sophisticated elegance.

A Nod to Historical Charm

The apartment’s defining element is a relief wall adorned with textured decorative paint. Interestingly, the wall’s motif originates from a bygone local sweet manufacturer’s logo. This design choice not only enhances the apartment’s charm but also weaves a narrative of the site’s historical significance, bridging past and present in a seamless fusion.
