The young couple of owners of this apartment were looking for a renovation that would make the space both spacious and cozy, with the least possible intervention but at the same time with the punctual replacement of materials.
We then focused on the contrast between colors and textures as a guiding element in the design, in order to also help in identifying each of the spaces. We kept the same minimalist language in all the rooms, united through a dark blue corridor that guarantees a surprise and a return to bright and spacious spaces every time you open a new door.
The dining room has a large stone panel as a backdrop, with built-in LED lighting created exclusively for this project. This robust panel contrasts with the lightness of the large-format porcelain tile panel in a light tone that forms the background of the television and rack area on the opposite side. Pieces of signed design furniture punctually occupy the spaces, distributed in such a way as to create a single and large integrated room.
The access to the kitchen is made through a large sliding door, which can completely hide it when closed or provide continuity between spaces when open. A large panel made of decorative tiles delimit the space, and contrast with the darker woodwork on the opposite side.
In the double bedroom, a wooden slatted panel that goes from the headboard to the ceiling delimits the bed space, and contrasts with the white lacquer used in the rest of the furniture.
