The premises of Rollladen AG in Basel, which were formerly used as a workspace, were converted into a physiotherapy practice for the Merian Iselin Clinic. The program included treatment and exercise rooms, changing rooms and offices.

For the implementation, wide-ranging structural interventions with work on various ceiling and wall openings were necessary. In addition, the existing and out of date technical installations where completely removed and newly installed. To meet the legal requirements for thermal insulation, the exterior walls were fitted with new insulation and all windows were replaced.

The concept for the interior design is of a high quality standard. The premises are not primarily reminiscent of a hospital or a practice. A quiet, homely atmosphere was created, which should have a positive effect on the visitor.
