THE LIVING ROOM OF THE CITY

Design approach:

The main idea is to create a living room for the city to be a breather and  escape due to the high population and the pollution from the industrial zone. The design seeks to create a small comprehensive village within the high dense of the urban fabric.

There are three levels of thinking :

Urban:-The main focal point is to gather both the residents and the factory engineers and pioneers by using vibrant colorful bridges and to create a shared ecosystem that enables the conversation and creating also a strong bond that would increase the awareness.

Architectural: -The building aims at creating a magical carpet that acts  as the living and connecting agent in the highly polluted urban context due to the cohesion of the residential and industrial zone. -The building aims also in giving an interactive platform for the people of Shobra,ranging from children,youth to adults. By community conscious design strategies that aims to enhance their quality of lives.

Internal: Creating a seamless and warm environment that celebrates diversity and invites an escape from the reality.
