In 2012, the French photographer Leo Caillard, together with the Louvre, launched a project in which he "dresses" classical statues in everyday clothes.
To create the project "Hipsters in Stone", the photographer first took pictures of the statues, and then asked his friends to pose for a photo in the same poses, but in modern clothes. Thus, using photos of friends, he was able to "dress" the statues in jeans, plaid shirts and Ray Ban glasses.
I wanted to show how antique statues would look in a modern interior. I wonder what kind of house the modern gods would live in?
