plan
POISON GAL's flagship womenswear boutique is inspired by the film 'The Pool' (1969) directed by Jacques Dere
The central element in the film is the swimming pool, around which all the key events take place. The interior of the showroom also has a 'pool', a key element which is an art object and a clothes cabinet. The aesthetics of the film - the colour palette, the furniture, the decor elements, the clothes - also served as inspiration and have references in the interior of the showroom
Despite the overall neutral tone of the room's finish, there are accents of colour. The yellow clothes rails are an homage to the garden furniture designed by Italian designer Gae Aulenti, on which the characters from the film 'Swimming Pool' relax.

The room is quite modest and there is no utility room, so the challenge was to design a piece of furniture that would visually fit into the interior concept but would also be able to store things. The 'pool', which is a cabinet for storing and displaying clothes, with pull-out drawers, was created. The cabinet is equipped with castors to make moving around the room easier
Also worth mentioning is the rug, like a splash of water from a swimming pool, in crimson, the signature colour of the POISON GAL brand. The floor tiles, in green, also refer to the palette of the film - and highlight the floor plane, contrasting with the cream colour of the walls
