Orła Białyego Square is a unique place in the structure of Szczecin, Poland. However, numerous changes over the years have caused the current square to lose its representative rank, which has a negative impact on its character as an important place of social life and a zone in the urban structure of modern Szczecin.

Project addresses the issue of revitalization of urban spaces as a process of spatial and social changes and coordinated activities in many interrelated fields. Improving the standard of living in the city, after the period of intense changes in Szczecin in the 20th century, in order to create new housing complexes, often deprived of such important places as public spaces.

The repair and renewal of urban spaces are taken here as one of the revitalization factors. These factors, together with other important elements such as cultural and historical conditions, they enable successful work to revitalize the city's degraded public space.

The study includes a conceptual design for adapting the basements of a demolished pre-war tenement house into a service function, such as a Concept Store. Square  offers excellent conditions for this function, which will enliven the current space, to be located there.
