From a big house owned by a wedding dress designer, this project transforms half of the existing building into a make-up artist & wedding dress' gallery. Create a space that showcases the dress and gives hospitality to their clients.

Located in a residential area, the house was once a big home for a small family, but as it was too big for them, she changed half of the area into a Gallery for her own designed dresses.

The flow goes from the lounge to the galleries for the main area. And in case of a busy hour, the customer could wait in the inner court, and rest in the break room, especially if the client was in a long drive from outside of the city. And the gallery is connected to a more private area.

In order to relayout the space for gallery use, new interior elements were added to the building and demolished a few walls while keeping the building's core structure. 

To ensure that the gallery would make the dresses pop out, the materials were chosen to have a modern and simple look from concrete, contrasting the colorful dress with lots of patterns and textures. 

Arc shape was used almost across the openings, from the entrance to every konglion in the gallery making the simple and raw material more feminine.

The previous slab of the building was still intact, but the finishing was changed. Vinyl flooring was applied in the gallery area to make the customer, who often have to take their shoes off, feel more comfortable.
