Ibiza Interiors

A 200-year-old horse stable in the Ibiza mountains has been converted into a holiday home by Ibiza Interiors. The project is located between carob and orange trees, like a peaceful paradise, at the end of the path. The original building was renovated to enhance its character and create a comfortable atmosphere and lifestyle.

建筑正立面安装了一面大尺度的可伸缩的玻璃，而单层石墙结构则是当地乡土建筑的典型特征。细腻肌理的天井延伸至室内，裸露的木质天花板横梁和木门与中性色调互为映衬，在古老传统与现代、优雅与质朴之间建立联系，以至于彼此的完美融合。

The front facade of the building is fitted with a large scale retractable glass, while the single stone wall structure is typical of the local vernacular architecture. A delicately textured patio extends into the interior, where exposed wooden ceiling beams and wooden doors are set against neutral tones, creating a connection between old tradition and modern, elegant and rustic, so as to blend perfectly with each other.

On one side of the main space is a small kitchen; On the other side is the dining area, which can also be used as an office; Behind it is a seating area consisting of a comfortable low sofa. The interior is designed to be as flexible as possible, with all furniture except the kitchen counter movable, providing enough space for indoor exercise or meditation. Similarly, when needed, close the linen curtains and adjust the direction of the sofa to watch the movie on the projection screen.

卧室家具不多，可以通过嵌入式的壁橱存放物品，而另一扇玻璃门则可通向室外，沿台阶而上到达屋顶，这里可以野餐和享受日光浴，也可以俯瞰山谷。深色石材的浴缸配以黑色哑光五金，形成细微的对比，阳光从浴室天窗照射而下，光影流动。项目内的植被是通过精心挑选的能够与岛上气候相适应，有利于减少维护成为，如匍匐草、芦荟、迷迭香和胶泥树等。

The bedroom is lightly furnished and can be stored through a built-in closet, while another glass door leads outside, up steps to the roof, where you can picnic and sunbathe, and overlook the valley. Dark stone bathtub with black matte hardware to create a subtle contrast, the sun shines through the bathroom skylight, light and shadow flow. The vegetation within the project has been carefully selected to be able to adapt to the islands climate and facilitate less maintenance, such as creeping grass, aloe vera, rosemary and mastic trees.
