Concept : While walking Between the ruins of Shali observing contemporary arts outside of the ruins beams of light from the past is emitted into the walking path, creating curiosity of what lies behind it, entering through these beams into the ancient ruins which holds the mysterious past.

The restored ruins are the connection between the past and the present separating the two different time periods but connecting them together at the same time. Suites, bookshop and InfoPoint are all designed by the Siwan traditional building techniques to reflect Shali's culture.
