Bicycle and pedestrian bridge 'Kadoelenbrug' has been fitted with composite edges. At first look this does not seem very special, the fixed parts of the bridge have elements of 2m each. But the moving part of the bridge is fitted with 2 parts measuring a staggering 17m each! These elements were handmade in giant moulds and give a seamless look. The low weight of the composite elements make the entire construction light enough to easily open for ships in the canal.
