A fire station with four fire trucks and an emergency station for the Red Cross with two vehicles are sharing a building in a very narrow plot of land, enclosed by a circular street ramp. Due to the confined space, the parking lot and the training tower of the fire station had to be placed across the street.

The tower provides direct access to the connecting bridge and the changing rooms on the first floor of the fire station. A fireman’s pole and two staircases connect the dressing rooms with the vehicle hall and the operations center on the ground floor. Offices and meeting rooms for up to 350 people as well as the rooms of the youth fire brigade are located on the second floor, arranged around a large roof patio.
